Accredited Courses:
General English – Elementary to Upper-Intermediate
This course offer a range of exciting and innovative courses for people who need English for professional development or social purposes.
General English courses are available at four levels of proficiency from Elementary to Upper-Intermediate. Emphasis is placed on the development of speaking skills. The range of Special Options at AICOL varies from time to time but includes: Business English, Australian Studies, Pronunciation, as well as preparation for a variety of international language tests – IELTS, TOEIC, FCE+ and TOEFL.

English for Academic and Business Purposes
This course has an entry requirement of Upper-Intermediate level proficiency in English and aims to prepare students for tertiary studies in Australia at diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate level.
Students undergo a highly intensive program of study, which includes: Academic Writing, Presentation and Seminar Skills, Note-taking, Library and Research Skills, Study Skills and Computer Competency. The program also prepares students for the international tests – IELTS, TOEIC, FCE or TOEFL – the English language examinations required for entry to university and to TAFE.

High School Preparation
This course is recognised by the majority of high schools in Gold Coast City as the most effective of its type and is designed to provide students with the English language and study skills necessary to succeed in an Australian high school – private school or public school. Students learn the vocabulary they need for further study in high school.
AICOL is an AEAS test centre (Australian Education Assessment Services). AICOL also offers a high school placement service for students who successfully complete the High School Preparation program. The growing number of our former students completing high school in Australia and going on to higher education attests to the quality of this program.

English for Young Learners – for kids 6-12 years
This course is for young learners aged six to twelve (6-12 years). It helps to prepare young children for the future in a happy, loving and secure environment. Attention is given to individual development in a multi-national class to ensure each child will not only acquire skills in English language but will develop a love of language-learning which will last throughout life. AICOL Young Learners gain a competitive edge. Kids love learning English at AICOL.

English and Professional Sport
A CRICOS (Australian Government) registered program for students who wish to spend more time pursuing their professional sporting career while also learning English – less English more sport.

TESOL Certificate lV
A nationally recognised program for native English speakers wishing to teach English. The AICOL TESOL program offers pathways to further tertiary study. As a provider of accredited English lanugage courses for over 17 years, AICOL is especially qualified and experienced to deliver a TESOL course. A comprehensive in-house practicum forms an integral part of the course.
AICOL also provides the following non-accredited courses:
English for Parent and Child
This course enables the parent and child to study on the same timetable in the same building in separate classes. The same or a different homestay family can be arranged for parent and child.
Teacher Development Program
