Course Details

AICOL* is pleased to announce details of the next delivery date for its Certificate lV in TESOL 10773NAT Course.  This is a great opportunity to experience face-to-face delivery.

© The course would suit current teachers wishing to upgrade their qualifications, or those wishing to obtain a TESOL qualification for teaching off-shore.

© It will be a blended delivery of face-to-face at AICOL, and online, with the major units of the Course being delivered face-to-face at AICOL’s Southport, Queensland campus.

© Face-to-face classes will be delivered on the following days:
Friday 27 th and Saturday 28 th January, Saturday 11 th February, Saturday 25 th February, Saturday 11 th March, Saturday 25 th and Sunday 26 th March.

© The Course will be delivered by Sue Baker**, the Course developer, who has 20 years’ experience in the design and delivery of English and TESOL courses in Australia and internationally.

© Some components of the Course, essentially the research, will be taken online, with access to Sue Baker for guidance, including zoom sessions where required.

© The teaching practicum component of the Course will be undertaken at AICOL, 66 Marine Parade, Southport, an accredited ELICOS college (CRICOS no. 32060) with 30 years’ experience in delivering English training to students of all skills and ages.

© The Course fee is AUD$2,500.  There is a minimum number of students required to justify the Course delivery.  If this number of students is not achieved all pre-paid fees will be refunded in full.

© The Certificate lV in TESOL 10773NAT is an accredited Course which provides the student who satisfactorily completes the Course with a qualification under the Australian Skills Qualification Framework which may lead to a Diploma in TESOL.

©Although there are no formal pre-requisites, a high level of general written and spoken English are needed to complete the Cert IV TESOL course successfully. Prospective candidates must demonstrate English proficiency.  This may be shown through evidence of previous educational experience or by undertaking an interview and/or an assessment before enrolment.
