Children can study from 1 – 50 weeks at any time of the year, not just during holiday periods.  AICOL offers young students a friendly, welcoming, healthy, fun, and secure environment. Can be combined with our Camp programs. Our English course for juniors is for a Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced young learner.  Children learn English very quickly when they want to play with other international students.

EXPERIENCE COUNTS

We have been offering English courses for young children since 1995 – one of the first English schools in Australia to do so! We accept students 6-12 years old for one week to one year, with or without a parent. Our Young Learner classes ensure the kids will not only acquire English skills quickly but have a fun learning experience playing with other children. Guardianship can be arranged free of charge.  Conditions apply. An entry test is given to young learners on arrival provided they have enough English knowledge to take a test.  There are different tests for children depending on the age and the English level.  If the child has no English then he/she will go straight to class.

If a young child 6-12 years old is planning to enter a local school the child will be moved from our Young Learners class to our Primary School Preparation (PSP) Course as soon as the student’s required English level is reached. This language program is specifically for children wanting to learn English in Australia with kids from other countries. High School Preparation (HSP) is available for students 12-18 years of age.
